PREVENT AND REVERSE HEART DISEASE/BUILD A POWERFUL IMMUNE SYSTEM FOR WOMEN CONFERENCE

We are thrilled to host this virtual event in 2021. Even though we can’t be together physically, we are united in our goal of transforming our health, as well as the health of our families and communities.

March 6, 2021 from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Live Virtual Conference / This event will also be virtually available to registrants for the weekend of March 6th and 7th.

The sixth annual Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease/Build a Powerful Immune System for Women conference will arm you with the evidence-based research and practical know-how to begin or continue on the powerful and protective plant-based path. This year’s focus on the impact of plant-based nutrition to not only protect your heart but also strengthen your microbiome and immune system has never been more timely. Now more than ever we need to understand the critical link between diet and immune health.

Hippocrates said it thousand of years ago (and Dr. Robynne Chutkan will provide a modern-day context): all disease begins in the gut. Some powerful cures can be found there too. The answer to protecting our health does not come from a pill, procedure, or technological breakthrough, but from the grocery cart, the garden, and the end of the fork. Our digestive tracts host our microbiome and our microbiome hosts our power to fight disease.

Join us virtually on March 6, 2021, to hear from our expert lineup of speakers: Dr. C.B. Esselstyn Jr., Dr. Robynne Chutkan, Dr. Anne Bingham, Jane Esselstyn RN, Ann Esselstyn MEd. and Brian Hart MEd.

Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn Jr., Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Reversal Program at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute will discuss the latest research and information pertaining to heart health and women. Our other nationally-renowned speaker Dr. Robynne Chutkan, integrative gastroenterologist and the bestselling author of Gutbliss, The Microbiome Solution, and The Bloat Cure, will focus on the connection between our gut, our microbiome, and our immune system. Dr. Anne Bingham, an incredible plant-based obstetrician, and gynecologist will present on the life-altering power of plants to enhance everything woman. Jane Esselstyn, RN, creator of the recipes in Plant-Strong, The Engine 2 Seven Day Rescue and co-author of The Engine 2 Cookbook and The Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease Cookbook will brighten the stage along with her co-author, mom, and partner in crime Ann Esselstyn M.Ed. Ann and Jane will host two lively, plant-based cooking demos throughout the day, with a bonus companion grocery list for registrants. And tying it all together, Brian Hart M.Ed., executive director of the Esselstyn Family Foundation, will lead an interactive discussion about getting those we love to make better food choices.

All registrants will receive a grocery list in early March that matches our cooking demo, so you’ll have the opportunity to prepare the same meals we will be highlighting at breakfast and lunch. Join the challenge to take this plant-based learning from theory to practice.

Anyone is welcome to attend this conference since all will benefit from the timely and empowering information that will help transform us into plant-based, self-care warriors! In addition to delicious plant-based demos, we’ll have our usual dancing at the breaks.

We will miss connecting with everyone outside of the lecture hall this year, but we have exciting plans to get together live in 2022, so stay healthy! The power to change your health is yours. You are sitting in the driver’s seat with the controls in your hands: your fork, knife, and spoon. Use them wisely! At the end of this conference, you will walk away with a heart full of joy, a gut filled with healthy microbes, and a stronger and more powerful immune system. We can’t wait to join you!
